Fred J. Sigworth is a professor at Yale University, in the departments of Cellular and Molecular Physiology, Biomedical Engineering, and Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He has been a faculty member at Yale since 1984. He has worked mainly in the fields of ion channels and cryo-EM single-particle structure. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences.
